From the website:
The obverse of the 2 oz Silver Liberty Island Ultra High Relief Round features the Statue of Liberty. The Statue of Liberty is portrayed as if the observer is looking up from Liberty Island. The American flag waves in the background, alternate stripes are in proof-like condition. "LIBERTY ISLAND" is inscribed along the stripes of the flag.
The Statue of Liberty is 46 meters tall and made from approximately 200,000 pounds of copper, and represents freedom in the United States of America. The Statue of Liberty was a gift from France, and designed by Gustave Eiffel, the architect of the Eiffel Tower. The Statue of Liberty was dedicated on Oct. 28, 1886.
Liberty Island is located in Upper New York Bay and carries the Statue of Liberty. The site was proclaimed a National Monument by President Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1937 and first appeared in the "National Register of Historic Places" in 1966. The National Park Service maintains Liberty Island.
The reverse features a convex rendering of North America on a globe. Inscriptions read "AMERICAN LANDMARKS" and "2 oz .999 FINE SILVER."
The 2 oz Silver Liberty Island Ultra High Relief Round is the second release in Elemetal's American Landmark Series, following the successful Grand Canyon 2 oz Ultra High Relief Silver Round. The series showcases some of America's most beautiful landmarks on 2 oz Ultra High Relief Silver Rounds.
