Oh why have I been so negligent to 'set and forget'...too busy to read SS and keep on top of my own investments!

I am substantially in.

I have rationalised to myself that I am SMSF long on silver and gold....30 years...

Most of savings are all gold/silver, sold a bit recently to finish up a trust. Thankfully I did the day before THAT OTHER drop.

I'm on holidays - beautiful QLD - and my husband helpfully points out the most recent fall as reported in the Age. Ahhhh!
 
My goodness I wish my girlfriend was into saving, investing and PM's rather than moronic girl stuff...

Don' be disappointed. That was my husband. I stopped reading some time ago, although I do like to laugh at grammatical errors and the general poor quality of writing.

I'm not into shoes and handbags.

Happy to accept diamonds though. Girly stuff must be a long term asset.

I stubbornly refused all girly/meaningless birthday and Christmas presents for numerous years so that I could eventually justify a gift of some beautiful diamond earrings. I wear them every day.
