The (COTY) THE 2007 Mongolia Wolverine & The 2011 Mongolia Owl

Not to rub anyone's nose in it, but I was fortunate enough to pick up the 5 wolverines in 2009 for $64.95 each. I also got another one for around $70 from ECI. The point is that while we watch silver drop again today, it's important to remember that diversity is key when investing. Stacking bullion is great, but it doesn't hurt to add some rarity to the pile.

BTW I'm down to the last two. I'll probably sell a complete set ot the three releases when my hedgehog(s) arrive.

Really good on you, man!!! I am so very happy that you got it at such low prices... :) really well done.

Yes I would probably agree with you . Nice really does them no justice, exquisite probably better describes them.
It i hard to remember why I am stacking at times and not get sidetracked by coins like this.

I just saw these tread today, what a pitty i really like Ural owl. And i just show it to my girlfriend and now i must buy it i find one for 571usd and one wolverine for 1587usd. So i would like to know is this fear price now for this coins?
Also would like to know what u think about these ones, they preceded 2007 wolverine. They r not beatufull like coins who come before but they r still cheap and mintage is same but they r 925.

I rather pass on above sets, low mintage does not mean rare. There are too many coins in issues every year from countries around the world, some of them with low mintage of 500 - 2500 pieces but after years in market there are still selling at low premium above metal price because there are no demand for these coins.

There are not many eye catching coins at first sight like Mongolia wildlife series, which I would say this is one of the most beautiful coin series in the world market right now. Whether you are coin collector or non coin collector, you will really fall in love with mongolia wild life series when you see the real coin. Genuine coin collector would definitely want to own one. Just look at done deal of USD2000 ++ for wolf and USD500++ for owl and see how fast hedgehog is selling in the market with just pre-order stage. With this artistic design, mint know hedgehog would sell like hot cake in the market price and keep on increase the price from initially USD200 to USD600 ++ right now.

Wolf already won COTY award in 2009, Owl may join the contest in year 2012. Frankly, I like hedgehog more than the previously two and from my friends general opinion, hedgehog is much more beautiful among the three. This give a lot of imagination for hedgehog, what if .... owl being elected as one of COTY of the 10 categories in 2012 ; what if ...... hedgehog join the competition in 2013 and elected as ........ ; what if these series continue and 4th coin in series come out in year 2013 .... so on. All these factors will push up the price of all coin in the series.

I am a slow starter but right now I have one wolf, 2 owl and 5 hedgehog. Good luck!

Of the 3 coins, the hedgehog looks the nicest. As for the recent sales of the Hedgehog on ebay for $500, you have to look a little deeper at the bids, most real bids stop at $300 - $350 mark, after that it's all shill bidding, so looks like someone is trying to inflate the prices, we'll see what happens once the coins are released.
