The (COTY) THE 2007 Mongolia Wolverine & The 2011 Mongolia Owl

Well Alex, I guess Power coin wants to make sure that as many people can get the coin as possible or else you would have 1 or 2 companies buy them all up, And we're left with nothing for the general public...

I wait a little more to see this coin sold from some other dealer, otherwise I'll buy at powercoin website.
Alex

Too late, out of stock at powercoin.

EDIT: Funny, it changed from "out of stock" to "2 items in stock".

You won't get them cheaper than $230 now, unless some dealer is silly enough to throw away potential profit.

Consider that the absolute minimum it should go for.

Ok I got my piece at powercoin now and I won't take any risk to wait more.
I should have bought it last week at $149,00 euro, then it was at $199,00 euro... I have been waiting too much, my fault.

I was told that coins are back in stock when they find a customer buying more than one (even with different accounts under same shipping address or paypal payment email) and they amend the extra coins. Well now I agree their policy or I wouldn't have got mine LOL

What is a good price for Gulo Gulo and Ural owl instead, and where to find them?

Thanks, Alex.

I also purchased one from Powercoin - 249 EUR - ouch, that hurts for a silver coin but I do believe the value will go up (or maybe just hoping it will!) - from the pictures it looks like an impressive coin.

Cant wait to see it in front of me :)

Congratulations Alex. You did the right thing imo by purchasing the hedgehog on powercoin. I have 3 wolverines (gulo gulo) as well as 1 owl which i love. The wolverines i know that have sold, 1 sold for 1,200.00 and a few sold for the upper 700$ range. there's 1 owl so far going for $405.00 on ebay. still with 2 days 2 go.. If you could find a gulo gulo for around $700or so, If you can afford it of course, I would by at least 1. These imo are the most gorgeous pieces with only 2,500 mintaged in each coin with the beautiful swarovski crystals..Imo they are museum pieces. Good luck on your purchases. When these pieces are available in the usa, I would be amazed to see them sell for less than $250.00....

Just wondering if it is really mongolian mint who made the coins? For example the somali elephant coin series are minted by german (i think). Some of the tuvalu coin series are minted by PM etc..

The price for all 3 coins in the series will eventually go up, just a matter of pace... With the Hedgehog going up faster in price in comparison with the first 2 coins... This, I reckon being more ppl aware of the existence of these masterpieces...I am sure when the Gulo Gulo and the Ural Owl were first released, they were far easier to catch, it is kinda next to impossible to get with decent prices. Like the animals it depict, the coins are getting extinct too...

I heard that it is a private mint in Germany which minted these series... However, am not too sure. IMO whatever the mint, it is rather irrelevant, as long as the theme is right and the coins are work of geniuses, highly collectible and in demand. I have hardly find anyone who can deny that these coins are awesome! I, myself find such pleasure in looking at it every single time. :)
