Out of curiosity, what would be a NormaL price?

I was offered a Wolverine for <$AUD1300 today.... seriously considering it.

I'd say, take it. Opportunity often knock only once! Otherwise, pass me the contact, would love to pick up another piece at that price :)

Buy it. List it on feebay for $2000. You'll net about $1800 after fees. Easiest $500 you'll ever make.

Currently one is selling for $1925 with about 30min to go. IMO the fact that it is listed from Singapore is keeping the price low. USA buyers are a bit wary.

Singapore has more millionaires per capita than the USA. GDP per capita also much higher than USA. IMHO Buying from Singapore is not like you are buying from China or Thailand.

I believe that $2000.00 is the new ebay market price for Gulo Gulo. Give and take a couple of hundred bucks. It not going to go much higher unless the Ural Owl also wins the COTY. The Singapore listing ended at $1925.56

I agree. I wasn't slamming Singapore. It's a matter of perception among USA buyers. If that same listing was from Australia, Canada, or UK there would have been more action from USA buyers. As for the millionaires and higher GDP, I don't think that comes into play on a $2k auction. It's just the simple math of smaller overall market because of fewer USA buyers.

Oh ok. My only concern about purchasing from Singapore would have been the risk of getting this shipment arriving safely over a trans pacific flight. I for one have already got an expensive shipment from Spain go missing.
