Would like to pick up a few to show the kids and make them aware of how fiat loses its value over time. I've already educated quite a few youngins, hopefully the message sticks with them as they get older!

I notice many of the site sponsors do not have them in stock.

Other than privately are there any sellers/shops you recommend?

Also what kind of a premium do you pay?

Better just to advertise here what you are wanting..

Most pre-decimal is sold around spot price.

Use the calculators link above to determine how much you want to spend (after putting in the no. of different coins you want)
 
It would help if we knew what state you were in
In Melbourne , W.Davis usually has some , most of the dealers on that corner always have some ;)

If your in the CBD there are shops in the Strand, Town Hall, Castlereigh st (toward central) and Wynyard.

MR Roberts at Wynyard usually has some cheapies for a couple of $, no 1/- or florins though ...... still well above spot for post three and sixpences, but should suit your purposes.

You will also pay a premium for a 50c round.
 
Try PMing Big AD, Luna, and 1 for 1, who I believe will be at the Sunday meet. To the best of my knowledge all have Pre-decimal.

Hey Mate.. yups.. we all have pre decimal .. BigAD i think has bulk Post 45 50% stuff, Et Luna has heaps id say. I have all the folders near complete, a few in duplicate, most dates quite a big collection Pennies - Crown

ill be there sunday.. ill bring some pre decimal

Hi Joseph,

Don't know if i can make it Sunday, but can you shoot me a quick pm with prices from penny to crown. Don't know much about dates, common ones are fine in good nick.
