In this weekends Australian

"The Bank of England ended centuries of secrecy over the gold held in its underground vaults this week by launching a phone app enabling viewers to take a 360-degree virtual tour and examining hundreds of pallets laden with bullion."

"The app also allows users to take a virtual tour of the banks cash vaults - where millions of banknotes are stored in floor to ceiling lockers secured with what look like rather flimsy wire fasteners."

Its a bit like people uploading old pictures of themselves on dating sites to give a better impression.

The problem is when they get a date the truth gets rather obvious.

LOL, was just thinking the same thing.
What they dont tell you is that the photos were from 1993.

Sure, everything looks great in the vaults, no need to worry. They now employ someone to walk around each day and take new photos and update the app just to keep everyone informed as to the content of the vaults.

A virtual 360-degree tour of the vault is not a real time "live" cam tour ..... although it could make you do a 360 ....
