I'll be in Sydney soon and would like to sell a couple of 1oz Gold Krugerrands. I offered them up here to the members but found no takers. See pics below.
That offer still stands. However, if I am unable to secure that before arrival, where can you folx recommended I go in Sydney to find a trusted buyer/dealer?

Just FYI mate, bullion dealers will offer 12% below spot for your krugs. 10% below because its not 99.9% pure and 2% as spread when buying.

I can offer spot price f2f in Sydney but don't have an XRF. Any ideas from the brainstrust? Take to the Gold buying place next to Town Hall Woolworths and ask to confirm?

What is an XRF?

X-ray fluorescent analyser. An electronic, non destructive tester to validate the element (in this case gold) or lack thereof.

Yup, some dealers will do it for free..if you ask nicely.
