Thought you guys might like this. SS is a friend I met on another Aussie MDing site & has some great clips to share.
He's from QLD and does the park scene mostly, but has a gem of a clip up where he digs up his first Gold coin.

If you're new to detecting, I highly recommend you watch SS's technique. He's pretty much the model for us park goers' try to achieve, especially on the way he digs plugs.
