and yet the reserve must be less than the buy it now price of 50k. ebay will hold the money anyway because he is a new seller so its not like he will be able to quickly withdraw it from his bank (or the account he has with a fake id) and get to keep it assuming the winning bidder even pays at all

I'm pretty sure a "gold broker" who "sells all over the world" doesn't need to sell on eBay, especially with the fees that they charge.........
