Well this was one hell of an interesting read 
At least its a lot more civil than youtube... that place is full of what I call the "aggressive 3ozers" - those that hold no more than three ounces and bite anyone's head off that says its not going to $400,000 per oz in the next month.
Few fact points this thread went wrong on....
Firstly... I said I sold 15-20% of my stash at $24. I then rebought significantly (more than I sold) at $29 (realizing the err of my ways) (vid on youtube where i got to the dealers with steve was one of those purchases).
All documented stuff... so I don't know how these facts get lost in translation... but thats the web for ya....
I've been slowly selling from $38 to $47.70 over the weekend where I sold the remainingkgs of what I'd consider my non core position on spotmex (the min amt of silver i ever want to hold at any one time). The sales from $38 were to get another venture up and running - that was more of a need than a want to sell type of deal.... but I have been cautious about the market from that point.
I've not sold any gold... infact, I might be buying a significant chunk more.... not sure yet... just want to see how these markets consolidate.
And yes... I've made some bad calls in this market in 2 and a half years... but I've made way more good ones... some of my earlier calls on silver pre $20 were scarily accurate even for me... but as silvers broken out - I don't know anyone who's calling this market spot on... (Bob Chapman was mentioned in this thread - he said $50 would be a piece of cake... well it corrected 10% for there... and although we're close, I dont think you can say 50 was a piece of cake)... so yea... in breakout mode, the markets are very hard to analyze. All my gurus have been wrong at different points along the way...
At the end of the day... if I dont get my chance to get into silver big again ... Ive done well... and I wish you just as well in these markets...
My youtube channel was only ever to present the opportunity of silver at $11... thats it... threads like this concern me that people are putting too much emphasis in what I am doing..

John - I don't think you made the right call, but i respect you for going with your instincts.

Dont worry about the haters Stella....you have done very well regardless what happens from this day on. Congrats on your profit and thanks for all your hard work/videos. Whats funny is you still have more Silver left over than 90% of people on youtube lol....

i am only very thankful to you......2 years ago or so.............that you were one of the first guys that opened my eyes up to silver full-stop!....
for that i take my hat off to you!
too many people waste too much time chasing the gos....or trying to make gos....unfortunately the only one negative i see about all forums....is that they consume too much of peoples time - and with that - these people somehow end up thinking you owe them some form of explanation for your actions. they need to get a life.

I think stella's made a sensible decision.
I've done much the same thing and sold half of my holding.
Sold from $38AUD to $45.50AUD for an average of $43/oz. Doubled my money and now have my initial investment back.
I look at things a bit differently though. I consider my core position to be my initial investment and my plan has always been to get my initial investment back just under $50US.
The other half of my stack is speculative and I'm happy to take more of a risk in holding it now that I've got my initial capital back.
I'm still betting on silver but now that I've taken some profit I can put the money into something else.
It seems many here are relying way too much on silver in my opinion.
