The P versions are nice but if you really get into stacking them that is a heck of a lot of packaging to store. 10 regular bullion ones fit in a tube. 10 P versions need a small hotel room.

One final day till the release of the 5 oz silver 2014 America the Beautiful Shenandoah National Park specimen finish/vapor blasted coin:

TomD, your photos of the ATB coins are magnificent. The photo above is of the bullion version, not the "P" collector version?

Those are really great photographs by TomD.

This is a P version, lots of cheating with the photo editor!

what is a cheap place to buy these coins in US ?

Are you interested in buying the 1) bullion version or the 2) limited edition collector ("P" vapor blast finish) version?....or both? Depending on what you want could mean a different source. The bullion version is generally shiny but typically full of defects. Bullion version has no mintage limit and comes in no capsule from the mint and has no COA nor OGP. The collector version is a limited mintage coin and has an antique-like (or egg shell like) finish and the condition is typically excellent. The collector version comes in capsule and OGP with COA. With a subscription, the collector version can be had for slightly more than the bullion version. To me, it's a no-brainer to get the collector version on subscription if I had to choose between either. If you have a buddy/friend in the US, you can advance them the money to have them buy a subscription for the collector version for you. Then you can work out how to ship...immediately after each issue is received or at the end of the year when all 5 of that year are in hand.

.

^ Collector's edition is $140 USD + shipping directly from the US mint, subscription preorder before release date, bullion version is ~$115 + shipping from any major US dealer.

SOLD OUT at the US Mint.

This can now only be gotten in the aftermarket but don't be surprised to see some fairly significant added premiums soon....
