Sprott is short 1.8moz of silver

I saw an interview dated in the last day or two where Sprott stated that he had not bought the silver for the offering. What that told me is that he believes silver is not breaking out and wants to buy the silver cheaper. Of course, he could be playing word games and have an agreement to buy silver, but has not finalized the purchase. Who knows?

I am betting that gold will take one more dip down over the next two weeks and then I will make a purchase. With the Canadian Wildlife coin #5 coming in September, I also wouldn't mind if silver stayed low for a few more weeks.
 
His last purchase was yesterday of 305,000oz at $33.16

With this last purchase the PSLV cash to NAV is now 1.25% and since historically 1% of NAV seems to be Sprott's preferred level of cash holding, I'd say his purchases are over.

Will update with all the figures Monday as the spreadsheet is in the office.
