Up for grabs is a medley of coins accreted over years into a miscellaneous box I’m looking to sell at current spot, which I will say is 35.5 AUD for simplicity. If the spot price falls significantly, the offer is suspended. I won’t ask more if it rises in the near term though again, if significant this offer won’t sit here like a deer in the headlights.

It is preferable the great bulk goes to a single buyer as there is not a lot of business time I have to post (as in SFA in business hours). Thus, I probably won’t sell this unless something like the lot is sold, or best of all the whole enchilada in one go

Possible FTF in Canberra or Murrumbidgee area on a weekend

I could be persuaded to shlep it to Melbourne or Sydney if you are interested in buying (quite a lot) more precious to make it worth the trip (pm me)

As for this pot pourri, it’s happy days if your game is accumulating ounces at spot.

If you buy the lot, I’ll throw in a free 1956 $10 Australia’s greatest Olympics silver half ounce! (This was actually a freebie from a fellow stacker here and so I’m carrying on the tradition)

Also if you buy the lot, I may be flexible on postage.

Does it get any better than this?

Alright, time for details...

Aussie stuff:

2 sterling silver one dollar note ingots from the Royal Australian Mint

These are 39.45 x .925 oz Ag per bar

I did know the proof set these came from many years ago but it’s lost on me now

Anyway, they looked nice enough to me at the time, still do and you’re getting them at spot. Nuff said.

I’ll post a pic of the RAM set if I find a link if interested but you might also research it.

Generals of the Anglo Boer War Proof 40g .925 Ag per coin

Originally from a proof set of 12

There are 5 coins here as shown

Other SAFFA stuff:

1969 1 rand coin

Samoa Sisifo $10 (“10 tala”) coins 31.47 x .925 oz Ag per coin

There are 4 coins here as shown

While the vendor marked them as “silver proof”, to me this is moot as they are not encapsulated and bullion grade, but well, silver is silver

Also Samoa $1 Sisifo 1974

Canada $20 Aviation Series 1 coins 31.1 x .925 oz Ag per coin

8 coins from a set of 10 by the looks of it. There might be a duplicate in there from memory, or maybe not.

Also 1967 Canadian Goose .8 x 31.3 oz Ag per coin

Celebrates the 10th anniversary of the city state of Singapore

31.1 x .5 oz Ag per coin

Mexican Una Onza De Plata

Year (edited) 1978

These are Mexico’s version of the ASE,maple or kook

These are one ounce of silver as it says on the coin. It’s enough to make you salivate.

Republic of The Gambia $10 Dalasisi

Celebrates Gambia’s independence 1965-1975

It’s what you always wanted, it;s here and it’s yours at spot!

28.28 x .5 ounce of glorious silver

Republica de Costa Rica 50 Colones 1974

25.55 x .5 oz silver might seem on the anorexic side of things, but the most important thing is it is precious silver and no premium for you!

And last but not least:

British coins:

1932 half crown

1915 florin

1918 florin

Dutch coin:

1961 2.5 guilders (why Dutch people have a 2.5 coin beats me)

Insurance is at your cost. Don’t come crying here about foul play if any issues past the time at which I post (unless it is my error). I will give you a tracking number if this is posted, once done.

PM me if interested. If you want to make it official you want the lot, buzz it or PM me. Note again, this offer is good *at the current price*.

In my next post I will add up the total cost

Australian ingots 2 x 39.45 x .925 = 72.98g

SAFFA war generals 5 x 40 x .925 = 185g

1 rand 15 x .8 = 12g

Samoa 10 tala 4 x 31.47 x .925 = 116.439g

Samoa 1 tala 31.15 x .925 = 28.8g

Canada Aviation 8 x 31.1 x .925 = 230.14g

Canada goose 31.1 x .8 = 25.04g

ASEAN 31.1 x .5 = 15.5g

Onza 31.1 = 31.1g

Gambia 28.28 x .5 = 14.4g

Costa Rica 12.78g

British 1/2 crown 14.4 x .5 = 7.2g

1915 florin 11.3 x .925 = 10.45g

1918 florin 10.46g

2.5 guilders 15 x .72 = 10.8g

total of 783.09g

@31.1g per Troy ounce is 25.18 oz

I’ll round it down to 25 ounces

This looks like $887 AUD

Please ensure this works for you and accurate.

Sorry about removal of the 1949 onza

Bought it at spot many years ago but worth a tad more now. Happy to sell all said for a bit more.
