What is this "hard material" the statuette of Valkyrie is made from?

Am I alone in saying why would anyone want this mini statue?! It looks incredibly lame and I would rather take another 1 or 2 percent off my order for the Valkyrie.

Personally I would rather have the miniature than the coin. Not even going to start the argument over how useful the armour is
