Hi!
I have to choose a few days ago between to buy sovereigns or 1/4 krugerrands and I have chosen 1/4 krugerrands.
Now I have thinking that maybe the coins are fake because I am thinking that maybe the 1/4 is too much thin. Please Could someone put a photo of the edge of a sovereing and a 1/4 Krugerrand together?

Please, help

Did the Krugerrands have 'Made in China' on the back?

woops, sorry!

OC

No, no they look good and when I hit the money its sound with the characteristic "ping" of the gold, is only that I buy by internet and I ve never had a 1/4 krugerrand, I was specting bigger edge. I have sovereings to the the versus, but I would like a picture make for another man (or woman) of a 1/4 vs sovereing.

Do you access to a device to weigh them in grams?

Start with that ...

Get the specs for the 1/4 oz and compare.

Ihave got the specs, but I still I would like a pic.

25 pesetas of Alfonso XII of Spain (Alfonsinas)

We can see that the 1/4 krugerrands looks thinner than the sobereings. The other coins is a Alfonsina, a 25 pesetas of Alfonso XII of Spain.
