South Africa Silver Coins - WOW

Yes I am biased because I am South African but I really think that the SA MINT produces some stunners that seem to go unnoticed.

I picked up this rare (hard to find) 2004 birds of prey (Owl) Silver Coin which has a mintage of 3000 but only 1752 were ever actually minted.

Pity that its Ag 925 Cu 75 rather than 999 Silver!

I will be keeping this one... What you guys think of it?

I have been getting alot of PM's asking if I can get members this coin. Sadly this is a very difficult coin to find since it was minted back in 2004. I will let you know if I manage to get my hands on any more of these coins but it does not seem very likely.

I have only found the one, and this one I am keeping :)

According to the price guide you can melt the coin and buy 1600 oz of paper gold!
No takers?
I guess their system has a separate entry for ASW, instead of calculating it from the weight and fineness.
