Its a fun combination. I just noticed that set is no longer listed on the YPS site.

It's no accusation at all. I remember seeing this somewhere online.

So you've seen David in person say this to someone?

Or you've seen this in an online conversation. If it's online then you should come up with the source/link, otherwise it's an accusation.

He has said in another forum you can request a specific serial number if you've bought from him before and he'll reserve it for you, hence peacepeople has all of the bars in serial number 3. That's very different to putting whatever serial number you want on a bar.

Not gonna speak for YPS, but..

From what I understand, if David pours (& stamps), say, a batch of 50, and you request a certain serial number between 1 & 50, *and* it's not already reserved for any of his steady long-time customers, or already sold -- then yeah, he'll probably try to accommodate your request by intentionally selecting that particular finished bar & shipping it off to you. Why? Because he's a pretty cool guy & wants happy repeat customers.

You could probably also request sequential serial #'s, or two odds/evens, or something along those lines -- if they're currently available within that batch.


But any of that is a hell of a lot different than "putting whatever serial # you want on it."

I'd be careful with your words. :)

I was informed there a couple of commissioned larger skulls out there.

Thanks for the welcome aboard I ended up joining in pursuit of BigFella.

I almost joined previously but the shipping and the conversion put me off.

I like Libertads and bars ;)
 
I've just got this piece, was thinking of flipping it though, they have fetched quite the price on ebay! Figured I could get a bigger one with the return.
