I don't see anyone getting excited about the Chinese WWF panda medal (which has a lower mintage than these medals).
 
Mintage (Supply) is not always the key... Demand is the lead indicator...

When demand exceeds supply, you are likely to get an opportunity :)

BUT... that being said, I think the Chinese WWF Panda will have its day in the sun... I've been eying these.

Sure, but unlike the Munich pandas these have totally different styles than regular panda coins. This SG panda seems to be made from a photograph and the WWF panda is quite bizzare.

The actual WWF coin is probably not selling that great either, a Chinese shop offered it to me for half the price listed on the pricetag.

At What price are issued?
 
So are those singapore medal will be worth anything? or i just throwed away my money, it wonot be the first time .

This is my estimation:
In the short term (<1year), a quick jump in price (especially if/when they sell out at the SG show).
In the medium term (1-5years), a stable price.
In the long term (>5years), a very large price increase.


I'll be happy to swap you some Panda bullion for these SG Panda medallions.
 
Hey guys I just talked to Will at Panda America and apprised him of this forum

I told him what a great forum it is from our buds in "The Outback" !!!

I just placed an order for the 5oz Silver Panda :)

Thx for the heads up guys. Lets hope the coins increase in value.

William from PandaAmerica was very helpful on the phone. He says coin comes in a box with COA from China Mint. Orders will only ship out after the coin show.
 
What time of the day should I be calling them if I wanted to order? Wouldn't want to call them when it's 3am in the morning on their end.

I just ordered thru thier website.
 
Bought a 5oz that's it. Hopefully they don't charge my card till next week, almost at limit need to pay it off.
