Anyone thinking they will be able to attend the Singapore Coin Fair this year (March 30 to April 1)? - http://sgcoinfair.com/

It would fantastic to meet up with the other Panda people in Singapore.

Here are some reviews on the 2011 event.

I would really really like to...

There's a 50% chance I'll be there... that percentage may grow/diminish depending on a few circumstances.

I really like the place, people and Pandas! :)

Most probably going on Friday (30March) to avoid the crowd .. :)

Hope the percentage of you coming increase over time ..

cheers..

Thanks!

I'd say the likelihood of me coming has increased a percentage point since you're going :)

Hopefully 25Grizzlies and some of the other Panda people from here will be going.

The more people that I'm likely to meet, the more I want to attend :)

Any idea what that slab is on the bottom right 2nd from the bottom.

Doesn't look NGC or PCGS or ANACS to me.

What are prices expected to be like? Doesn't Singapore have taxes on bullion making it more expensive than buying here?
I'm guessing your would be interested in items that are difficult to get here anyway.

Can't do this one guys, I'm cleaned out these bears are eating all my money, not that I'm complaining!

Unfortunately there are other things in life apart from MCCs :(

Question: does anyone have/know of a calendar of meets like this 1 where Pandas migrate? Would be easier to plan with a bit more notice to attend these great events (and have the fiat to make them worthwhile/though I guess trades are made also).

Pandas help pay for those living expenses right? :)

Yeah man, not that I've ever sold any! No regrets thats for sure, love having the bears around and eventually they should pay my living expenses handsomely.

I think prices will be slightly inflated due to the 7% gst... but like you said... some items if they are available would be worth paying a little bit extra :)

I wouldn't mind trying to offload some bears also :)

There will be no gst impose on gold and other precious metals ... The details are pretty sketchy at the moment ...
But implemented from sept onward ...
Too bad for this show still got the inflated 7% .

Wow sure are a lot of slabbed Pandas in a place where supposedly they are not as desired ???

Panda America organizing this ... pretty cool !

Looks like and awesome place with tons of coins would love to make this :(
