Silver Panda Help?

Hi everyone !

im Zillas ! im new here im from The netherlands :)

i found this forum and i learned alot about gold and silver !
( so awsome ! )


i have a little problem since im new at buying gold and silver
i hope you guys can help me out :/


i orderd 2 silver panda coins they look amazing but the problem is they have some little diffrences :|

for example the panda nose: one is thick and the other is thin




and at the back they have a temple they have the same exact details but the one with the thin nose has is kinda blurry and the other one clear as water



is this normal?
 
Not sure how you expect anyone to give advise on 2 generic looking totally different images of coins that are pasted together and are not real time pictures taken of the actual coins you have "side by side"?
 
I don't know too much about Pandas but there should not be any variations in the coins. I would weigh both coins and see if they weigh the same. Also do the capsules appear the same, the pandas have a domed capsule that is easy too distiguish. By the way welcome to the forum!
 
Still too hard to tell from the photos, its hard to get the lighting even. They don't look like obvious fakes too me. Best bet is too weigh them, if they weigh right and the same they should be ok. Where did you order from, if it was a big bullion dealer I would rest assure they are real =)

its not hard to see that the nose are diffrent from eachothers if you look very good at it
and by the way thanks for the advice i will try weight both of them

beside's that i have a good qeustion

you have people who grade there coins
lol how can i let these 2 grade at www.NCG.com
if they are 2 exact same coin but they have diffrenc nose size?

kinda suspicious :S

i also orderd a gold bar that had a small scratch on it on the back:S
same with the panda coin who has a thin nose





i mailed them about it and this is there respond : You must consider that these coins are bullion coins, meant for investment only. They should have major scratches and damages und minor lines from production tools are common and don't affect the value of the coin at all. If you wish to buy 'perfectly pretty' coins you would need to go for the proof version!

The coins have been handpicked and I also left a note on your account that appears with each order, asking for hand-picked coins. Usually our logistics team is very picky.

this belongs to the minor scratches I was talking about, as you can see the Panda is still in it's original packaging. We can exchange it for you but you would have to pay the shipping free and/or we take a closer look in the future before sending you coins and bars!

Your source seems to be legit. They have a good rating on the UK eTrusted Shops and there are even a couple of YouTube unboxings from folks who bought from them. The 2015 China Panda are produced from 3 different official Mints (Shanghai, Shenyang & Shenzen Guobao) so there may be slight variations on dies that each one may produce and use. As suggested, weigh them separately and if they weigh about the same and around 31.1 grams then you should be fine. Welcome to the forum. :cool:
 
Aslo grading is expensive and you pointed out yourself the coins had blemishes, not worth it. Id spend a bit more time collecting before sending coins to be graded. The company is right, you did buy what they concider bullion so small blemishes with coins are expected. Be sure to raise a fit if you buy a proof coin and there are issues with it, they lose all premium if they damaged.
