Silver or LEAD?

Im in the Midwest.... Walk into any coin shop and silver is readily available. 1000 oz not a problem. Online silver is readily available. 100,000 oz not a problem....

However, bullets are another story.

Try finding a box of 22 Long Rifle ammunition....

Its almost impossible to locate a box of 500 22LR ammunition....

Im thinking its time to trade silver for lead, before silver falls to $16 ...

Anyone else experienced an abundance of silver, and a shortage of lead?

Not really a topic for this place, we're not big on firearms/ammo due to regulation

Welcome to the forums and as DanielM has already alluded to, it isn't a censorship issue or anything like that but we would prefer not to draw unwanted attention from government agencies who like to look into the people involved in talk about firearms.

This is mainly an Australian centric forum, so you won't find much enthusiasm for firearms displayed here. That isn't to say there isn't any, but it's just not displayed.

Hoarding ammunition in Australia is illegal anyway.

ANDDDD what will happen when people stop all the bullet hoarding, and then you can get a box at any store for $5 bucks?
I would not sell anything to buy bullets, that will blow over in a few years, so quite honestly I would be selling Ammo right now and purchasing silver....

That's my thoughts on the subject.

Your motto should be "Stack gunpowder, not guns". :P

How much per ounce is lead?

Maybe a little arbitrage :P

Only kiddin spanner!

Hah, silver bullitt has got to wade into this one.
All you obedient little robots who blindly obey every attack on Human freedom don't dare come crying to me later because I had the guts to keep my powder dry while you implicitly trusted the system to feed and protect you.
You are part of the problem and capitulation to tyranny is suicide.
Perhaps it's time to change my sig.
How about.... No one loves a soldier till the enemy is at the gate.
So SpringfieldStacker. Good for you mate! I certainly hear what you are saying. Power to ya and definitely stack a little lead away.
You will most certainly not regret that investment while living in the United States. I am absolutely certain lead will be a very rare and valuable commodity in the very near future, especially for you Americans.
That's one thing you definitely don't want your fearless leaders to have an absolute monopoly on.
I hold exactly the same philosophy here in Australia.
Fech the PC pussies.

With all due respect and without any prejudice, you do not speak for me.
I do not usually discuss firearms related issues here as this is where I like to discuss the prevailing topic of silver however, I personally do not quail at discussing this subject in any venue and firmly believe the two activities are closely related.
Yeah, I hoard food too. Is that also going to be illegal soon due to "regulation" or rather, fear?
What the hell happened to Australia?

As you all can likely see, I am rather passionate about this subject but, nough said I spose except to take the opportunity to say.
From my cold dead hands!

^^^he wasn't speaking for you, it's forum policy that there's no talk of firearms;

Just a reminder that there's a no firearms chatter policy on the forum - don't need the phonecall asking for members details because of something posted on the forum.

That is clearly not what he said.

"we're not big on firearms/ammo due to regulation"

I am part of this community and will gladly abide by forum rules but I am big on this subject and will not be dictated to on what I am big on thank you..
Perhaps a misunderstanding but...........
I also can't possibly express in words here my horror and disgust at how that forum guideline is worded.
Giving members details to the KGB so they can drag you away to a Gulag in the middle of the night? WTF!

Bearing this in mind I no longer wish to be a part of this forum.
I see there is an administrator in this thread.
Could you please remove my name from this forum, thank you. I Don't want to be reported for a thought crime.

Well you took that completely the wrong way... That quote was lifted from a general conversation where gun talk was about to start up.

The phone call he's referring to would be from a gov entity such as the AFP enquiring about a member because of the comments they made in reference to firearms. It's easier not to antagonize them, hence the policy.

You've been here almost a year and have survived without any talk about guns, why leave now? I doubt anybody reported you.

Sorry that you took that out of context, you're right about the stackers/preppers part too I just meant its not really a hot topic for any forum based in this great land of ours
