Now is when people work out for themselves just how tight they are holding onto this silver bull. Drops like these are to be expected but not relied upon in my opinion. In hindsight of course it would have been better for me not to go all in around $40, but hey I have no regrets, none whatsoever.

I'm just happy to have discovered this gorgeous bull and its brother gold and their cousins the mining shares. I expect losses 'on paper' but non whatsoever in reality (I'm long).
 
Sorry Stella, while most likely you won't care, this bit of gloatness and showcasing via the video leaves a bitter taste in my mouth about you. I used to like your videos because you combined heart, passion and logic all souped in one. Somewhere in the shuffle you got lost and it became about people's perception of your views more than anything. Perhaps I'm the only one that notices your ego (hey, I got some too) rubbing a bit too hard and in the wrong way.

I still think you are a good guy deep inside and just tend to get caught in the hoopla. Take care John

I sense a tad bit of hostility (for lack of a better word) directed at John, can anyone help me out here because I think his videos have vastly improved from when he first started.

The topic heading states the obvious but it's not like he's gloating he called the drop... unlike some of us :P

Some may be jealous that he's a 'rich westerner', some that he has lots of youtube success others genuinely disagree with what he has to say and go about the wrong way.

I find his information useful and, right or wrong find him genuine.

He made some awesome calls, sold his silver at the peak and made a shitload of money.

Apart from that he seems alright.

Not wishing to speak for John, but from my perspective he made some pretty gutsy calls which happened to be prescient. Without touching on the silver price debate, he (and others) on this forum asserted that the US$ would rally strongly in 2011. Such statements were treated to howls of ridicule and accompanied by assertion of an imminent US dollar collapse. In short, he's been more right than wrong, and some people seem to be more than a little agitated by this.
 
I will add another perspective to all that :/

Some people are upset because he changed.
He apparently abandoned his original principles and became a "paper trader".

However, that was at a time when talking about ETFs was for people without shame, cos back then it was physical or nothing :P

Just saying what I heard ok. :rolleyes:

True enough, gloating constantly will win you no friends but like I said, i'm new, so haven't seen any evidence of this yet.
 
Is this Stella bashing? Not cool. Stella can and and should manage his $ how he wants. Are people taking his advice? Is he offering advice for payment? Who cares if he is right or wrong? Let him gloat, skyte or whatever. If he wins, good on him. Wat a legend. Having a go at his behaviour doesn't affect him at all. It won't affect his life nor his bank balance.
