Silver Doctors being for real? $50 Silver ?

$50 is much more reasonable than the $500 and $5,000 per pounce silver that some permabullshit artists were spewing back a couple short years ago.

.

Funny, as soon as I saw the word Turk, I hit the back button. That guy is a pumper, dumper, X banker, and loser.

Lol, what? It has been $50 before, of course it will get there again; it may not be next week but it will 100% get there again. Given the extent that the global economy has slowed since the last GFC, it is reasonable to believe that the next one will be more severe, so why wouldn't silver beat that high?

50 is not impossible, depending on the time frame, unlikely to happen within a year, but probably will happen within 20years

I mean I was still a little worried about buying more (physical silver) on monday to be honest.

I see you've just joined... So I feel it is my civic Stacker duty to suggest immediately ceasing reading Silverdoctors or any of those kinds of sites. For a list of those to avoid obtaining your information from, read here- http://forums.silverstackers.com/topic-63060-the-list-precious-metals-pumpers.html :)

Be careful where you get your information from. The vast majority of sites spruiking silver also
happen to sell it (usually at higher than market prices)

A more moderate outlook will probably prevail down the line.
Disregard the noise about returning to precious metals backed currencies; the downfall of the banking system; the apparent shortage of physical silver; manipulation of the paper market etc

And I'd recommend no more than 10-20% of your portfolio in precious metals.

Read billybob and rhino above. That. Turk is a pumptart. I'm not saying $50.00 is out of the question. What I am saying is Turk is saying 50.00 around the corner, next week, soon, imminent, because he has a 'book' to sell. He's a POS in my humble opinion.

When it's $20 they talk about $50
When it's $50 they talk about $200
They always just talk it up in a relative fashion, no matter the reference being $5 $50 $500
And while their mouths spew that, their hands are hammering sell buttons. :)

If I could start the first annual Silver Shyster awards, these shameless propagandists would win the award.

I'll be happy to see silver at $20/oz in a world where the average working person makes an ounce of silver per day in wages, and where a nice men's suit might cost 5 oz of silver.

Preposterous to believe that we would ever revert to a time where the average man's salary was 1/10th of an ounce of silver per day!

This would only be preposterous in the WESTERN WORLD.
Just remember that the western world is pretty much in the minority as far as planetary population goes.
The are more places on the planet that $2 would be the norm for a days work than there are where it is NOT.

Edit: Perhaps it may have been better to say that there are more people on the planet prepared to work for $2 a day than those that would not.

One rule when buying: never buy more than you can afford to hold for ten years (or whatever planning horizon you choose). Plenty of stackers around here (myself included) are still underwater on silver purchases during the last run-up and slide. Having said that, dollar averaging and the ramp-up have helped considerably. My unallocated silver is -1%.

while we're on the topic of bagging the silver pumpers...

we seem to have conveniently forgotten the silver dumpers...

you know, the ones here who were saying silver to go down, down and down, single digits. it seems all the chums here pat each other on the back when prices were knocked down but suffer from alzheimer's when it rockets up.

have a look at the parabolic rise recently. $50 may be achievable in a very short time. it shouldn't be scoffed at. no way i'll be selling at $50.

It confuses me why those books frequent the forum; what is it they gain from going on here telling the community they're all wrong? Go to some trading forum which DOES suit their beliefs!

It is always much more interesting to read this forum when silver price rise:lol: So much enthusiasm and silver orgasm! lol
But when silver rises in price so fast I just do not know if I'm upset (because I bought not enought silver when it was cheap and now need to pay more) or I'm happy (as my current stack is more in price now) :)
