awesome... so what you going to be doing overseas?

I will hopefully be working, as a secondary teacher.

I have enough dirty fiat not to be in any rush to find a job though... actually just selling some of my stack to wipe all my debts/phone plans etc at the moment.

Debt can be useful for many things.

I go into debt every single month, and then I pay it back during interest free period ^_^

Well you should be tooting their horn, IMO. A rare find.

I think having a good financial advisor is invaluable. Accountant and solicitor also. All of which i knew for many years before i used thier services personally.

Investments aside. Things like asset protection, income and life insurance, wills, powers of attorney etc are all things that i hadnt considered previously.

Me three. Pumped $10k+ over my cards the last month or so buying stuff :D

Almost enough for a free ticket to Asia and back.

I guess using eBay for some of your panda purchases you can do that! I would be too if I could lol.

I don't put that much through the card, but have spent enough on it in the last 6 months to have got $300 cashback in reward points.

When you live a simple lifestyle, you don't need cc's. I don't feel I need to actively use credit cards, vouchers etc etc and get free this and that to try to make my life more exciting. I do it in other ways :)

Good on ya tho. The banks love you.. they're waiting for that one missed payment like a big cat stalking it's prey ;)

As for the QE there is no way that the US fed is going to start that in a big way with oil at $100 per barrel, they will have $150+ if they start that now and mass civil unrest to boot and they know it. Why do it when they can 'imply they will' and keep the markets up a little longer just on words.

Could be completely wrong on all of it, but under 30 buying the dips is pretty good for me whatever happens.
By it's very nature a Usury based currency requires an ever expanding money supply, your post seems to suggest the fed has a choice to not print via QE. If there is only 1 dollar in existence and the someone borrows it and promises to pay 2 back, the other dollar must be loaned into existence.

Good point Thatguy however, I still think they have enough control at the moment to influence the timing of such an intervention.

A good financial advisor ??? My last one cost me big time and my last accountant was sh#t house.
I would use one again if there was such a person in Perth.
EXAMPLE,, my sister works for a large leanding society and there financial advisor is pointing to a bad future in financial investments and will talk about it at lunch but than two minutes later he's advising clients to fix there money into the things that he is warning against.

Evil world.

Really? What rewards program are you with?

I have an ANZ FF Card and would need to spend $30k + to get a flight to asia i would imagine.....

Wouldn't you guys save much more than the:

Interest earned - Rewards cards fees

... if you reduced consumption? @_@
