Silver Bullet Silver Sheild Coins

At some point I even begun to think that they actually wanted to ridiculize the people that buy silver coins.
Take for ex those skeletons/skulls. Come on, they rather target a horror movie fanclub than people that stack silver for any reason (anti inflation-theft, numismatics, gifts,...).
Well, just too many SBSS designs to find them all desirable, I agree.
I can see someone wanting to get one of each, but not myself.

You certainly have a handle on a lot of this stuff, but you don't seem to have a clue about the collector market.
At this moment in time, zombies are trending hot and heavy, as well as miss-managed or derelict governments bringing financial death and destruction.
Enter Zumbucks. I missed the original issue of the first of ten 'coins of the apocalypse', but got on board after a heads up by copperhead.
Here is how I see it.
Stackers hardly noticed - unless they were fans of The Walking Dead series, and there are a lot of fans.
Many stackers were like you - 'Who wants comic books on silver?'.

So 40k got issued in a 3 month period, and the market price doubled very quickly.
Released at bullion price - like the SS and SSSB BU issues.
Coppers for less than SS rounds going price (under $1.50), also doubled, and then some.
Morgue Anne and Zombuffs not nearly as popular with collectors, but still collectable, with good increase in premium on the resale market.
Mintage has remained at abut 40k for silver and 100+k for the copper.

The whole series may dry up, or......
It does depend on design ideas, and skeletons and skulls will be an integral part of any successful designs.
My adult children and teenage grandchildren love them, as well as any Walking Dead fans.
Provident and SS have been on the cusp of a expanding market. It will not go away soon.

I am buying tubes of SS SSSB personal favorites at bullion prices, and if the collector market dries up, I still have the bullion.
With SS and SSSB, I also like proof-like for higher premiums, that could still easily be sold at spot price with no loss of wealth in a few years (no guarantees).
Freedom Girl is great, and I like others, but I will be watching for skeletons and skulls too.

It all comes back to that (dubious) idea espoused by so many, that silver is money.
Rounds are encroaching into the silver coin market, benefiting from the confusion.
The status of private mint issues are gaining in popularity, not only by stackers, but by collectors who do not stack.

I buy some silver (and now copper) with collectors in mind.
Just part of my diversity plan.

This does not diminish the value of your excellent observations in other areas.

i was just looking on ebay at what freedom girl double obverse are selling for.
i am extremely pissed to find out that this coin. with a mintage of only 100 has being done over by having another 200 minted earlier this year.
granted these don't have certificates or anything not even a case.
i find this extreme bullsh*t pushing it just that little bit to far.. the original ones were pushing around the $400 mark on ebay. this new one is $130..
no doubt this is MM pumping these out. they are doing everything they can to kill the first series of these rounds with all the enemy unknown/d&d and every other variation in between.
totally killed it. do these even count as part of the series?

Well, MM was in bankruptcy.
They wouldn't be making such decisions, although RG may be advising.

And possibly the Republic of Texas bought MM.

When creditors want their money, the courts do anything legal to get it for them.

When new owners of a business take over, they do what they can to make a profit.

They call it speculation for a reason.

I have to smile at "count as part of the series?".

The collector market decides the value.
If they are struck from the same dies - indistinguishable from the first releases - they have equal value, which has been diluted.
Collectors who bought the first will tell those who buy the new releases 'Yours are bogus, mine are real.'
But really.............

$400 last week, $130 today, $65 next week, and $35 the week after.
And so it goes.

The 'proof like' Freedom Girl from SS, (Trivium reverse), are in a presentation box and capsule, numbered COA, for under $35.
Same with Standing Freedom (3/4 pose).
I like.

Not that it helps much but my five oz 2013 debt bad death is numbered 446. So the est figure of 350 is perhaps a tad low.

Almost!

I did look at that site, but it only shows the few current coins. I know there are lots more as I have seen them on offer. I was hoping for a single definitive list of all coins so far in the series. At the moment I am seeing a few from one thread on here, some more from somewhere else..... But I have no way of checking to see that my list contains every coin! :/
My lists contain EVERY coin from SBSS and the new Silver Shield collection which was formed when Chris Duane went out on his own
Don't get fooled-there are TWO sets-SBSS and the Silver Shield

OK, so after hours of trawling over a hot google I find mm stands for Mulligan Mint.

I also found out that they closed due to some sort of a scam.

I also found that no-one really likes the SSBS coins.

But I can't find any full decisive list. I think it is this: (Possibly in this order?)

Debt and Death
Trivium
New Year
Slave Queen
Freedom Girl
Love
AG47
Cannabis
2 oz. Freedom Girl
5 oz Trivium
Sic Semper Tyrannis
Agryraspides
Peace On Earth
Consumerism - AKA Santa Slave

Plus a bunch of copper coins.

Why is it so hard to find this info? Surely there is a web site somewhere that lists all this stuff? Any way, I think I got it now.

What do people here think about these coins. I like many of them. There are some that I don't.
