Hello anyone into silver antique. I have pleasure to share some with you guys. But I am also new in antique, so perhaps you guys can tell me something about my collection. But I have some problem uploading the picture. Can anyone help.

Here are his pictures....

Nice I like the last one. It's got really detailed work done on it. Are they under UV lighting?

Awesome collection... how big/heavy is the bull and two bowls in bottom picture.
The only antique silver i have is an old asian bangle and a couple of hand chased iranian vases.

hi leng2005, where are you from? i have some silver bowls like in the last picture. i dont know how old they are. are yours on display in a shop or something?

"silver antique"
I like that, it sounds better than antique silver.

Silver price is coming down, that's why I rather buy some antique . At least get to admire them. Anyone have some collection to share?

Hi Guy

Don't be disheartened seeing the falling of silver price. Think of how much effort people went through
to mine, refine and create art pieces to bring out the beauty and soul of this purest white mystical metal.
Attached a video of my earlier piece for you to appreciate what is silver.

Hi, are these antique? Or Silver Fashioned into an object recently.. i love antiques and silver, so these are like 100 years old? They seem freshly made?

Antique:

A collectible object such as a piece of furniture or work of art that has a high value because of its considerable age.

Is this what this thread is about?

The silver alm bowl is around 100 years old while the box is around 50. Why does it look fresh? Well, when I bought it, it was black in colour. I don't like it. So using the gold and silver polish cream, I spent 2 hour polishing them with 2 packet of cotton ball till it shine like new. I don't care about loosing it numismatic value. I like it shine like a glamous queen!

hey Leng,

For polishing - I recommend one of these cloths - they're from a company called Town Talk based near my hometown in England.

Fantastic quality - and they shine all my jewellery stock up perfectly. They work equally as well on Silver bowls and antiques too...

They also do a Gold Cloth too - I showed the effects to a few people at last weekends silverstackers meet in Brisbane... cracking piece of kit - and alongside an ultrasonic cleaner - you will DAZZLE people with your silver! :D
