Looking into opening a deposit box account and wanted peoples thoughts/experiences on shipping Ag across the country (In this case will be from Perth to Melbourne).

This is more than would fit in a Platinum Post satchel

Would be looking for a good balance between cost and security. Express registered post, private courier, etc?

I hear ya - i'm not sure its going to be economical to ship that much.

I was considering moving into pool allocated at the mint but then I lose my smaller denominations, kind of a deal breaker.

Taking it with me on the plane is an option I guess but would need to fork out serious $$ for the extra weight.
