Are people feeling this recent rally (which has been exacerbated by falling AUD) is going to be short-lived? And a drop is coming?

I ask, because I see sale threads such as 1oz gold certicard for $10 over spot, INCLUDING plat post. And no takers.

Seen similar threads like this recently, where I think "wow that is a bargain" and there are no bites.

Thoughts?
 
I have enough of the stuff at the moment, I was using PMs as a way of storing excess fiat but I have now run out of excess fiat.

Haven't even looked at PM 1oz Horses which would be a no brainer purchase.

This. Market flooded with offloading the past week (on here at least) to raise funds for horses.

That said, a few weeks ago sentiment was another big smack down was coming - but now everyone is getting a little bullish.

I was thinking along this line last night. You know those sentiment cycle graphics? With stages on the downside following a euphoria top like disbelief and bargaining, growing acceptance, then despondency, then despair. First sign of possible recovery sentiment wallows in disbelief, then hope, then optimism etc.

I never got to despair, but did despondency and boredom. Now I'm at disbelief mixed with optimism (skipped 'hope' - that's for when you're adrift on an ocean and see shape of ship on the horizon)
 
I think everyone is waiting for the 'imminent correction' that should kick in after every dramatic rise.

And most people that were here woild have bought already. Just going for the ride now.

Nah - Sod the horsies. I offloaded some to buy that boat I'd promised myself, on the basis that if pm's are terminally smacked-back forever and US invades Syria at least I can go down with my own ship and thereby contrive a credible 'tragic boating accident' should the govt decide to sequest everyone's shiny and/or the missus decides to claim on my life insurance if I disappear off to Polynesia owing to another kind of (non-silver related) charting error...

Or summat like.
