Does anyone have got some inf. how was the
Silver- Gold market behaving at Cyprus/ as the banks were closed and cash flow restricted.
And stackers were trying to sell gold at pawn shops, dealers etc. ???

Be interesting to hear this.

I believe the Greeks have a history of keeping gold sovereigns on hand, so I wonder if trait is shared by the Cypriots?

Massive gold culture in cyprus. its 1/2 turks and 1/2 greeks... both of which have a strong gold culture much like the indians.... however to answer the OP's question, I doubt anyone could pawn anything because where would the pawn shop owners get their cash from!?
