What ? Now I'm really confused, do you know what they are supposed to look like? Where's the recurring S?

I will get a .01 scale to be safe, just means I can't test the 10 oz bars, but they should be fine as bought them off bullion money who are a distributor of southern cross bullion.

Also below are a maple and a pm 1 oz, the maple seems to be the same thickness but is is about 2 mm shorter in diameter but both are supposed to be 1 oz.. ?

That back looks wrong compared to mine, the S's areant as close to joining, are slightly rotated and taper at each end

Just a thought, what if the issues of these fakes sold on ebay were reported to the manufacturers of the real bars/coins. They surely would have a legal case against these sellers.

Try & sue dodgey seller in China ,
No likely

Its all very well to say I would have spotted that, that just sounds like my wife. But you don't see them until you get them.So all you are saying is that you saw what I saw. But when you inspect you have the goods and see the faults. Sometime on ebay the photo's are not what they are.

Good point

Fed up with chinese fakes of everything, should be an embargo on them
My latest line to my friends
If its not made in China
Has it really been made :P

Even the big brand names are being made in China now
That's why the fakes are so good

Bump

The s is normal s then another s is reversed and forms a chain this is then done time and time again each line until the back is finished. sorry I can't help with the coins. The scales you can get from .01 to 500 or more and they are cheap.:)

any bars or coins I suspect are fake, I drill a small hole in them and make windchimes.
this is much more relaxing than stressing about authenticity. If they are fake they make a really cool
(but expensive) wind chime, If they are real, they make a really cool and valuable windchime.
