SBSS New design Redoubt on Ebay....anyone want one.....OMG on price!!!

The guy selling has been mentioned on here before and it's not the first time he's advertised SBSS coins for massive amounts. Apparently he did some work for SBSS and got/gets hold of the coins pre-release and is selling them to raise money for his business. Last time he had signatures of Chris Duane on the capsules.

Is he related to this guy? A few weeks ago this started at $5,000.00. I just wanted to see if anyone was stupid enough to buy it. Price drop each time by 1K until current price as you can see.......lol

From the listing...

"THERE WERE ONLY TEN OF THESE PROTOTYPES MINTED AND NOW.... THE PRODUCTION RUN WILL NEVER HAPPEN" BY AN ACCIENT OF TIMING AND EVENTS.. THIS MEDALLION AND THE OTHER "NINE" LIKE IT HAVE SUDDENLY BECOME THE RAREST OF THE RARE FOR THE ENTIRE SBSS SERIES."

Oh wow. That design is sure ugly. No wonder production was halted.

Never trust anyone who uses Comic Sans!

Wouldn't even pay $30 for it. The Duane name is a fad for silver stackers, just like the Furby was for kids. He will be forgotten shortly.

Hmmm, "make an offer."

If I drop some zero's and move the decimal place, who knows.

Nah, perhaps not. It is pretty ugly even under spot.

What a joke.

if that is really the new SBSS coin.. they are letting their standards slip... what a shame. a damn shame.

Seller has made some points of sale. This one has me questioning it

4. THERE ARE ONLY NINE OTHERS ON EARTH AND THEY ARE ALL HELD BY MINT EXECUTIVES.

So there could be more out there!!! hmmmm

Pfffft! As long as the dies remain with the mint until all this malarkey gets sorted out, there's nothing stopping an 'exec' punching out a few more rounds to hock off on evilbay at a premium...

He might get that $4500 when a bag potato chips is $45
100 bags potato chips appear more attractive/marketable to me than that coin though.

Shit looking coin. Talk about limiting the audience for your message. What does a global audience care about a few states in the US marketting themselves as a bugout.

The one the guy is selling on Feebay is the SBSS prototype that was never fully realised. If SBSS and Mulligan Mint had not have severed ties and had gone into full production with it, the quality would hopefully have been better.

The Mulligan Mint have now partnered with James Wesley Rawles and "borrowed" the original SBSS redoubt design, put their own very crappy reverse on it and are selling it here: https://shop.coinsforthecause.com/causes/the-american-redoubt.html . This "new" medallion has no affiliation with SBSS and isn't even AOCS approved. You'll notice no mention of SBSS or AOCS on the medallion.
