No I would not, I can understand a seller not disclosing on a e bay listing to maintain the integrity of the coin , but if you message him with interest to buy he should give you cert so you can research coin and know you got the coin you paid for...... unless of course there is a money back guarantee involved........... then i guess if you dont like the coin at least you have the option of returning it......

I wouldn't either. Apparently you can get a barcode reader and decipher to cert number from the picture anyway so don't really see the point of hiding it :P (I used to hide it too... was a stupid thing to do).

There are still a lot of sellers out there who seem to think that if they hide the cert #s, that will make it harder to produce a counterfeit listing.

Unfortunately, this is completely opposite of what actually happens. When the certification number is visible, buyers can actually check the NGC/PCGS sites for pictures (or the CC if it has been entered before) and compare the listing pictures to the authenticated pictures.

And no, I wouldn't buy a coin that had the cert # hidden.

Anyone ever dealt with shanghai coins from ccf?

I make a deal. But ask the shipping cost. He say the shipping is for example 25 uss. And later he sent the shipping and ask for 25 shipping more. I pay it because im a gentleman but pay 50 shipping for a buy of less than 50 is a crazy.
I dont remember the numbers but the double shipping is.

How about the quality of coins?
I buy mr ge's book and price guide. I buy for him because he have the autograph version (i pay more than xu hong ebay price).
I dont know the quality of his coins because the prices are allways very high.
Try here to ask yennus or fishball if they have your requests. They have fair prices.

So, I gave him my last offer, he didn't reply. Suddenly he sold one of the coin that he offered for sale to me. And for the rest of the coins minus the one that he sold, he asked for higher price. So blah !

The seller hangzhouhuayinshoucangpin is good or not?

Yes seller is good, I have made a few purchases from them. Read full description on coins before purchasing them though as they will usually tell you if coins have any spots or other issues.

I would recommend the seller thincat00 as I have purchased many nice coins from him.

Frank (thincat00) is a great panda seller, highly recommend.

I can vouch for Frank as well. Good service.

But check with the stackers here first cos it could be cheaper. :)

Not sure where to post this, so I'm doing it here.

Has anyone here bought sealed random year pandas from apmex? Looking through their stock, it's quite easy to see which two (or three) coins that you can "randomly" get, but thats okay. What worries me is that I had have read many times that apmex will take the best coins and send them for grading. Will this also apply to sealed pandas, or are they less likely to crack the seal of an old coin?

Are people still having good success buying from hangzhouhuayinshoucangpin on ebay?

Who else would you guys recommend.
