the dragon is artificially high due to the nutty fixation a guy had who allegedly bought up a massive number of dragons in order to corner the market on them and get the prices temporarily high.
How did you come to that conclusion
1 - 1 person did not buy up a massive amount of dragons
2 - I set the bar of $100 a coin for the dragons
3 - The mint had issues with production runs which caused a shortage of coins & the demand grew from there
Once the rest of the Dragons were released the price started falling![]()
Hi,
1 - I'd read in a couple of places that there was a very large buy up by a single buyer. Is this simply a false rumor? It may be but I didn't see a reason to automatically discount that possibility because of the plausibility that this could happen
2 - Setting the bar to whatever you choose is your prerogative based on your personal beliefs....I have never argued that you are not allowed to do that because I have no control over what you or anyone else believes. Additionally, I do not contend a $100 bar....you may be right on that. My point was simply that at the prices that it is fetching now, the dragon is not a good purchase in my view....it's over valued.
3 - That certainly can account for a temporary increase but if there was a large buy out by a single buyer, this would account for a bit of hysteria which would in turn lead to an artificial, temporary but significant (whether that's 40% or 85% or whatever amount it is over valued) increase in my view
