If you use all 12, I'd list as follows:

1) dragon
2) horse
3) tiger
4) dog
5) ox
6-12) all the rest with a marginal if any difference between any of them

The real money will be the odd sized mouse and ox as new people looking to collect can't find them. Even the 1/2 and 2oz tigers and the 5 and 10 oz rabbits should draw serious consideration down the road. The real winners will end up being the 1/2, 2, 5 and 10oz mouse and ox in my opinion. Those size dragons, snake and the rest if they ramp it up like they are currently could be ok, but not the returns like the mouse and ox. Then again, if general interest wanes, everything could be a massive money pit.

All 1oz coins have been sold out ( however , my little coins and banknotes book 2012 ed. still says mouse and rabbit to be advised). I'm going on the basis that earlier coin releases will be harder to come by in good condition. As more people get on board with the series ( a positive out of the dragons, if you had earlier coins) they will be looking for sets. The future coins will be easier to pick up on release where as the earlier releases are locked away, given as gifts or stored incorrectly , leaving fewer for the collectors market. More that want them, less there are equals higher price... People justl like the dragon for its mythical qualities etc.. So figure it will always be most popular in the long run..

S2 mouse 1 oz u can find it easly even now. Not so popular one. Rabbit 1 oz getting more expensive now awsome coin!

Ditto for me. I'm seeing $50 or better here in the US for 2008 Mouse.



I also agree with Horrie. There's basically 7 more years before the final S2 coin is in the marketplace. By that time, there may be plenty more new people who will become Lunar fans. Keeping this in mind, every year that passes will mean that the earliest releases will be that much more in demand as new Lunar S2 fans will want to have a few complete series runs. 2008 Mouse is a key issue because it's a first of the series. I like the 2008 Mouse as the surprise leader of the S2 run by the end of 2019.

Please let me know if you see below $50 Mice (that would be including shipping to the US).
