Rwanda .999 Silver Bullion African Ounce

I have quite a few of the Rhino and Cheetah coins in their original mint packaging. Cheetahs are $48 and Rhinos are $55. Postage is $6 for up to 5 coins registered in Australia and at cost for overseas. The mint packaging is a soft, sealed plastic pouch.

Rwanda, I had the opportunity to make sure that the mint work great jokers.
Attached is a photo of coins in sealing. Sealing horizontally integrally.
And what we see in the photo - the party Buffalo 2015... with the addition Impala 2014? :o

I picked up a couple from Danman, beautiful coins.

I've also put mine in air tites due to the PVC mint packaging.

Well, all I can say is, does this look like normal "toning" on a 2-year-young coin fully sealed in mint packaging..?

Not saying this is going to happen to them all.. But I'm not willing to take that chance. Because given enough time & the right conditions, I'd say that plastic is a death-trap.

Mine immediately go into air-tites -- after a quick dip to remove any residue, followed by a distilled water rinse & gentle pat with microfiber cloth (and then air-dry).

As my observations lead to PVC. Could be wrong.. but doubt it. :)

Yeah, thanks Gatito! This was the thread I remember reading where everyone was discussing whether to keep them in the plastic or not..

People seemed to quickly want to put them in air-tites but my question still remains.. do you think that would effect the value since they aren't in 'original packaging".

Leave them in original packaging. I have quite a few of them and none have developed any problems from the plastic packaging.

Down to my last 75 Cheetahs at $48 and all the Rhinos are gone. Happy to put some money towards shipping if you take 40 or more.

cheers.

You mean 74 right. ;)

Just finished a complete set (so far) of proofs 2008 - 2015

Only thing missing is CoA for the 2008 Gorilla. Following this series for a number of years now, i have never spotted a proof 2008 including the CoA for sale anywhere, which leads me to assume at this point that a CoA was never issued for the Gorilla.

The coin looks cool.
No offense, but to the OP - that premium making the coin $60 is kind of bonkers.
Unless you've gone to the future & seen the $1000/oz silver prices already in advance... ? :)
