It does, though I think we got the best looking coin with the Polar Bear
Happy to help AndyRoo! I'm glad someone else was able to get some.
I wonder if the interest generated here had anything to do with the price move.. I mean, for example: if they had 50 in stock, and then all of a sudden they sell around 20 of them in the space of a few weeks (2forAndyRoo, 4forMe, a dozen or so in total by lurkers that recognise a deal but didn't pipe up) their inventory is almost halved.
I'd put up the price too if this happened. I was THINKING of keeping it quiet but realised I wasn't going to buy 10-20 myself so why not spread the love :)

These obscure coins are interesting in market terms. Each coin is a tiny market unto itself with buyers and sellers of that specific coin. From what we've learned, the smaller the market, the easier it's "manipulated" so we can conclude that if a low-mintage & relatively low-cost or undervalued coin is discovered, simply buying a whole bunch of them may be enough to move the market up and presto - PROFIT.

The trick is finding the undervalued coins I guess, not that many around. Hunting for them has become one of my favourite pass-times since my interest in PMs was piqued. This one is evidence that they're still out there :D
Was thinking the same - price manipulation by silverstackers :D. Although at $295 each they probably still good value with a good chance they should appreciate much further - if not still happy to have a great looking coin.

My 2 coins arrived today, man they are big! Customs had opened my package - no drama though, at least they doing their job.
Only gripe is coins came on their own, no display case! Assumed it would have the original Leningrad Mint box :(
Have ordered a 60mm air-tite from Maggie, so hopefully will fit - now to track down a case off ebay!

They're fat huh :) no case? that blows :( have you contacted PandaAmerica for an explanation?
I hope my others come with cases when they arrive, though it seems unlikely if yours didn't.. did they come with COAs?
I got some 62mm Lighthouse caps, and there's a little room width-wise but they don't close fully because the coin is so thick. The 60mm ones should fit, if they do and if they close properly I'll get some too..

Yeah, got coa, came in a huge coin holder, must be 75mm wide! Will email pandaamerica and see what happens, don't like my chances of getting the display case off them though.

Well, just got an email from PandaAmerica, they have sent me 2 boxes for my coins :-)
Was not expecting anything, so a big thumbs up to PandaAmerica for a bit of service.

Ah, that is great news. Mine arrived yesterday and came with boxes, so I was wondering how you were going with it.

 PandaAmerica

Do you have your 60mm Airtite yet? If so, how's the fit?

Yeah, got an air-tite 60mm from Maggie, fits perfectly - even the right height etc - so hopefully fits into the display case ok.
Was good that pandaamerica sorted it out, am trying to build up a bit of a relationship with them - the 2012 Chinese lunar dragons are out soon and I want one! Haha, nothing like a bit of sucking up to hopefully get myself onto the pre order list :-)
