Who's going to go big on buying a pile of Royal commemorative Tea Towels that will soon be hitting the market?

Which do you think is likely to be more desirable down the track, ones that featuring Elizabeth or Charles or possibly a combo "Queen is dead, Long live King" job?

I'm not sure if plunging into Tea Towels for future returns is a good idea due to just about everybody else buying some or receiving them as Christmas gifts. Most of these will be put in a draw or cupboard and remain unused because of the significant and special people and events they portray. I sense there will be a lack of collectibility or future demand for them and any premium over the price of a regular Tea Towel initially paid will not be maintained or ultimately recoverable.

Hang on a minute, I got mixed up there, I said "Tea Towels" when I've actually meant to say "Coins".

It's already started with the existing stuff that's out there. I received emails a few hours after the Queen died from some online coin stores that I infrequently buy from, announcing the sad death of Her Majesty, immediately followed by the fact that they still had a whole passel of existing commemorative coins that they have in stock from the last few years, both silver, gold and CuNi. Personally, I found that a bit distasteful, they could have a least waited for a respectful period before doing that.

Don't forget that there will be a large amount of commemorative plates, cups/mugs and yes, tea towels coming out as well, both for the Queen and then Charles' coronation.
