Recently added on the Royal Mint site...I have quite liked the previous years designs but something doesnt look right for this years :|

Sure its not Year of The Meerkat. Even the Queen thinks its funny by the look on her face

Why is it so hard to do nice monkey coins this year?? :(


Hoping at least the Lunar Skulls series does a halfway-decent job..

Whoa. Good thing I got out of this series. Doesn't look that nice compared to Perth Mint's to be honest!

And what's with the Queen getting older? Damn accurate representation!

Yeah, I won't be going near the Perth Mint Lunar animal this year. It was hard enough to pull the trigger on some of the goats (2 oz silver, and colored; and Kilos only). I won't be buying the Monkey. Sorry Perth.

HOWEVER, I would like the pull the trigger on 1000 oz. of the Kooks. Those bad boyz are sweet.

i'm in agreement. I'll just complete my lunar sets and load up on some kooks. I'll probably buy a roll for fun of the lunars, but not as heavy as the artwork has gone downhill. The hair on the animals is sooo annoying...
