Hi everyone! Being a Doomsday guy, my search brought me to precious metals as a hedge (Silver for the long-term). I hope to learn more here.
 
Welcome fellow Libertarian. A couple of Ron Paul supporters here too - and a couple of statists here also.

Australia has a version of Ron Paul too... unfortunately he's only had limited success in our Senate ... not too dissimilar from Grandfather Ron too.
