RCM suing RAM

The applicants say they are aware of “infringing” Australian coins printed with coloured ink “by forming a plurality of macropores of about 0.1 to about 0.5 mm across in a designated pattern on a portion of the metal surface, forming a plurality of micropores within the macropores, cleaning the surface, applying the ink and drying the ink.”

Holy shit. So RCM figured out that getting a machine to rough up the surface before applying the paint makes it stick better? I'm sure nobody else ever thought of that. They deserve billions of dollars for being so super smart.

Weird, cannot find an official press release from RCM.
(wouldn't you expect it, if the matter was serious)

may be it was done in previous years

I shall apply for a patent in producing milk spots and register it as my trademark!
Check all your coins and pay up, or I will see you in court...........:p
