and as to why people buy them? the ones in good condition are beautiful, i got a milky cougar the other day, couldnt see it under the light in the coin shop, i got home and looked, got kinda pissed, but other than the perth mint, the canadian mint is really the only other decent offer, i guess the us mints got buffalos (the best gold coin on the market), but really not much else..
