I though I would post some Engelhard Australia and old PM gold bars as hadn't seen the Engelhards before, but I notice Aurora has already posted in that fantastic German collection.

Still a good bit of old gold porn. Does anyone know how long and where Engelhard made these in Australia? Any other info?

Maybe someone is disposing their hoard and availability may be localized to Melbourne.
I visit dealers every week around Sydney browsing for rare and unusual coins and bars and have never come across one.
Is the current high premium justified if they are not so rare?

Surprised they are not showing up on ebay where premiums are still high.
VSR doesn't seem to have much competition with his offerings.
Also the 1 oz Golden West bar seems to be cropping up for sale more frequently as well and premiums seems to be dropping on them.
