Nice little gold bar I found any thoughts ?
No only the bar -no paperwork and no serial number. I have seen some similar bars made by the Royal Mint (like this one below) that have serial numbers
but this is the first Engelhard like this that I have seen.

The Chinese lettering is the Hang Seng Bank
It's just the name of bank on the front and God of Wealth on the reverse, in chinese characters.
No, it's the exact same bar as yours, except for the serial. Anyway, they're nice and the Made In Australia adds much to the appeal.
No Bigfella I will hang onto it for a little while. maybe the god of wealth will bring me some ?

Old bars are mostly cast bars, ie. hand poured... new ones are minted with serials... the simplest term.
Got ABC BU 1/2 and 1/4 coins... are these rare? I hvn't seen 1/2 ounce on sale for some time...
