Anyone got any information about this ingot? Was given to my mum decades ago. Can't seem to find any information about the mouse on the back of the ingot.

I saw a 5g yesterday with dragon at the back so it could be some kind series(lunar?) and I think they are rare.

This looks to be a Maneki-neko (beckoning cat) good luck symbol themed one.

I was thinking it might be a lunar series as well but could not find anything online. Gave up after about a hour haha.

So I emailed Suisse Gold Customer Service, who informed me that it was a bar produced by Valacambi for Credit Suisse in 1984 "Year of the Rat"

Same as the OP.... vintage gold is my main attraction.

Another favorite is this 5oz Engelhard that was shrink wrapped on a piece of cardboard and slides in a cool maroon holder. The bar is pristine.
Has anyone seen another 5oz like this?

I've only ever seen 2.5oz size in gold bars coming from Australia. I wonder if there is a story behind that.
