Only noticed it once here that one has the SCCC stamp upside down.

The one ozers are definitely collectible here in the states. The H&M ones were going for $60 each a few years ago, but people must have seen that because now they're almost always available for purchase here. I believe the MW bars are still being produced in New Zealand but those don't look to have been produced recently.

Hello ss,these are a couple of ABC poured bars,they have faint cooling ringsand round stamp on front right top,trouble getting pic up,will try again. Any info on bars would be appreciated ,especially age and if they fetch a premium. Cheers HC

Have been eyeing a similar one for some time.

Is there any way to distinguish between genuine and the fake ones?
(guess, I will have to take off the wishlist and consider russian imperial ingots)

they are all fakes the hong kong shanghai specie office never existed and never would as hong kong was under british control.

from the information i could gather it looks to be some kind of dealer producing these in the 70's trying to make them appear older. the chinese means "fine silver", and a bit of googling comes up with not much information, they seem to be mintage under 400.

dont let me put you off, they are real silver and quite collectible, just not the 1920's vintage bars they are pretending to be. i had been chasing one for a while since also seeing them go quickly at auction.
