Random Date Panda coins on APMEX

I don't believe they were resealed, the OMP had a discoloration only present in really old plastic.

I was gambling and hoping for a mirrored 00 or a 98 LD but knew that wouldn't happen haha.

Thanks for the post fishball i have read many of your posts and see some of the nice coins you posted.

I was also gambling a bit but its not a big deal because i only spent a bit over $200USD. I was just hoping for 1 or 2 nice coins and then maybe a couple i could give as gifts to my brothers or just sit on as bullion silver weight.

thats a good point right here. I am mainly a bullion buyer but i will spend some extra cash for something i like just because it makes me happy. I bought a few graded pandas but want some i can actually hold outside of the slabs. In addition i hope to get a variety i don't have which is almost every year:(

I personally wouldnt expect too much in terms of great coins from APMEX if there the assorted PANDA's, they wouldnt be selling them off at that price unless they werent going to grade well e.g. MS 68,69 or 70. The best you can expect would be bullion value or semi-numi value because there still in OMP.

Also if people havent responded to your thread off the bat dont be offended, as this post has been addressed before. All you need to do is use the search tool on forum and use the keywords.

thanks for the post and i guess i got a little excited and wanted a quick response.

I was not expecting flawless 2000 Pandas or MS 70 1989 Panda or anything like that i just hope i get one of those 2008's or something before then.

HI fellow Stackers,

I got my shipment of 5 Silver 1 oz Pandas Random date from Apmex.

I got

3- 2008 Pandas

1-2007 Panda

1-2010 Panda

None of the pandas have scratches but all of them have a bit of spotting like the pictures show online. I got two of the coins that i can see in their picture.

I was hoping for at least 1 2008 because i love the design and the sections behind the Pandas that are proof like...sure enough i got 3 of them so i am overall pretty happy.

i am almost tempted to take a 2nd stab and see what else i get but i will sit tight to see what my local shops have this weekend first before i drop another couple hundred on Apmex, Gainsville, or Provident Metals.

2008 is my favourite too. i got one off fishball - i dont know if it is because of the design or the quality of the strike but i think it is exceptional & it quickly became my favourite panda
 
thanks guys i was really expecting some scratches or rim nicks but only a bit of toning around the rim on a couple. If i can get some good pictures i will post them if anyone cares to see what you get in this mystery bag.
