Someone just pulled out of a sale because the coins were not 'unopened'.
This is referring to Perth Mint kangaroos in the clear plastic oyster case that the coins come in. Buyer asked for pictures and so I took the coins out of plastic cases for image and then resealed them in the cases. Buyer then asked about image and I said they were removed from the oyster case for the image. Buyer then declined to proceed as he thought the coins were 'unopened'.
Am I missing something? I thought this was the only format these coins were presented as - that is in the clear plastic cases. Has Perth Mint another version of coins cases with the coins sealed in some way?
