Question about 25th anniversary gold set.

I picked up a set a while back and i just found out that it's missing that lock thingie.

Is that something that is gonna affect the price if i decide to resell it? Is there any way to get the lock?

It may affect the price slightly. One solution is to get the coins graded and forget about the box, but that may be overkill. I would estimate that the coins represent 95%+ of the value of the set. You may have to offer a slight discount for the missing lock. At least that is what I would expect.

Grading them might pay off, but sending from Norway is a pain in the b.
