Provident Metals' Fisherman Silver Round- Hobo Nickels

Wanted some opinions of the newest round from Provident Metals.
I think it looks good but not sure if I wanna invest in it. They are minting it in a regular round, and this antiqued one.
They are gonna mint an antiqued 5 oz round in the 'coming soon' section. Should I wait for that. Feel free to comment your thoughts!

I'm not into rounds, but this one looks good. And I like that it has a limited minted. Even better!

Focus, b.. FOCUS! ;)

Don't do it, man!

In all seriousness, it is possible to make money on rounds in the secondary market -- but only if you pick the right ones.

Easier said than done..

Key question to always ask yourself is to whom are you going to be able to sell the coins? My guess is that the antique coin will have a very limited market.

Well it looks nice for sure. Nice subject matter also. I don't see a Hallmark and that really hurts resale IMHO.

This isn't minted by Provident, it's from Osborne Mint. Apmex has had them on their site for at least a week or two.

Yeah I knew that it was minted from another mint like Provident does with Elemetal Mint but by their wording in the description, I thought it was like exclusive to Provident only.
And it's weird because in the description from APMEX they literally say that it is an APMEXclusive product.

If I were to buy it though. Provident has them a tad cheaper and APMEX doesn't have the 1 oz antique listed anymore.

Yeah, I don't think this is one that you're gonna turn for a huge profit, if at all. But I was just speaking in terms of design and something to put on display.
I think it's just one of those numismatic purchases you put on a shelf and look at haha.

Dang, I have been buying from Provident for years and never knew that  Well cool information.
Haha I just went to Elemetal's website and yeah, they own them. I guess Elemetal is the mint and Provident is the retail business. Makes sense.

I will skip the 1oz version , but the 5oz one I will buy.

Yeah, I am thinking of doing the same. It's a nice round and the antique finish is really cool so I think I'll save my cash for the 5 oz.
